New Zealand Mailbox Bible Club

Who are we?

The New Zealand Mailbox Bible Club Inc. (NZMBC) is a non-profit, non-denominational organisation operated by Christians who volunteer their time and efforts to send out Bible lessons through the mail.

Our lessons teach important truths from God's Word, the Bible, showing the way of Salvation. The lessons also reinforce family issues and good living.

Members of many different denominations accept and use these lessons.

Some history

NZMBC commenced in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand, on 06/03/1990 through the efforts of Keith Glasgow in "This is Life Ministries" . NZMBC was commenced to follow-up converts from this ministry.

After a number of years, "This is Life Ministry", was terminated and a new Board was formed on the 08/04/1993 for the sole purpose of continuing the work of the New Zealand Mailbox Bible Club.

This ministry is now well established in distributing the Word of God, averaging 350 members throughout New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, various Christian Organisations (including camps) and prisons.

What does it cost?

For students it costs nothing. Lessons are free!!

For New Zealand students we are able to provide Reply paid envelopes, so that postage is free. Of course some of our members do put a stamp on the envelope, which is appreciated as this saves us paying the postage.

Apart from the lessons we award certificates for each course completed, and award prizes as funds permit.

How is NZMBC funded?

We are funded by free-will donations from interested Christians, and churches who desire to see that the truths of the Bible and the way of salvation are made freely available to all. We rely on the goodness and provision of our God for this work to continue.

Of course if you would like to make a donation, it would be much appreciated.

See the contacts page for our postal address.
